Episode 19: May 2024
FSR at the Frontlines ends another academic year with a new episode led by Dr. Nicole Beaton Sur. The Florida Stroke Registry’s very own Dr. Sur, Dr. Gordon Perue, and soon-to-be Dr. Segura guide viewers in learning about the Uhealth Department of Community Service (DOCS) program and how the FSR collaborates for outreach initiatives.
Episode 18: February 2024
Dr Gillian Gordon-Perue and Dr. Victor Del Brutto host this installment of FSR at the Frontlines. In this episode, a few intriguing studies from this year’s ISC conference in Phoenix, AZ, are presented, such as the Treatment of Subdural Hematomas (SDH), stroke prevention, and treatment strategies. The Stop CAD trial and antiplatelet treatment in over 3000 patients highlighted the importance of proactive interventions in preventing stroke recurrence. The Resilient Study and Reperfusion and Select2 trials improved patient outcomes, suggesting a promising direction for neurology advancement.
