On July 1, 2017, the value of a Florida Stroke Registry for Floridians was recognized through Florida state enacted legislation “Section 395.30381, Florida Statutes (F.S.)” establishing that all Florida stroke centers should participate in the Florida Stroke Registry maintained by the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine’s Department of Neurology and funded through annual state appropriations.
