Dr. Hannah Gardener, one of our team members at the University of Miami Department of Neurology, is presenting her analysis of Florida Stroke Registry data at the International Stroke Conference this week. Her research found that elderly Black and Hispanic adults are at greater risk of ischemic stroke compared to white older adults, pointing to the persistence of stroke-related health disparities.
